Westgate Tea Towel
Westgate is a medieval gatehouse and former defensive structure located in Winchester, Hampshire, England. It was built in the late 13th century as part of the city's defensive walls, and served as the main entrance to the city from the west.
Westgate has played a significant role in the history of Winchester, and has witnessed many important events over the centuries. During the English Civil War, it was used as a prison for Royalist soldiers, and in the 18th century, it served as a debtor's prison.
