West Wittering Tea Towel
West Wittering is a village and seaside resort located on the south coast of England, in the county of West Sussex. It is situated on a peninsula between Chichester Harbour and the English Channel, and is known for its beautiful sandy beach and coastal scenery.
Henry Royce, the co-founder of Rolls-Royce Limited, had a connection to West Wittering. Royce owned a property called "Elmshurst" in the village, which he purchased in 1916 and used as a holiday home.
Royce was a renowned engineer and inventor, and is best known for his work with Charles Rolls in creating Rolls-Royce, one of the world's most famous luxury car brands.
