Totternhoe Mug

£1000

Totternhoe is a charming small village with a rich history located in the county of Bedfordshire, England. It is situated on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, about 6 miles west of the town of Dunstable.

One of the main attractions in Totternhoe is Totternhoe Knolls, a local nature reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest. Totternhoe Knolls is a chalk hill with a variety of rare flora and fauna, and it offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Totternhoe also has a 15th-century church, St. Giles, which features a number of interesting architectural features, including a medieval wall painting and a 17th-century pulpit.

Other notable landmarks in Totternhoe include the ruins of Totternhoe Castle, a 12th-century motte and bailey castle which was destroyed during the English Civil War.
