Penmon Lighthouse Tea Towel
Penmon Point Lighthouse also known as Tywyn Du is located between Black Point near Penmon and Ynys Seiriol, or Puffin Island, at the eastern extremity of the Isle of Anglesey, Wales marking the passage between the two islands.
The Penmon Point Lighthouse was built in 1838 and is still in use today as a navigational aid for ships in the Menai Strait. It is a cylindrical tower made of limestone and stands 29 meters tall. The light from the lighthouse can be seen up to 14 nautical miles away.
