Mount Kenya Tea Towel
Mount Kenya is the second-highest mountain in Africa after Mount Kilimanjaro and the highest mountain in Kenya. It is located in central Kenya, about 150 kilometers (93 miles) northeast of Nairobi, the country's capital. Mount Kenya is an extinct volcano that rises to an elevation of 5,199 meters (17,057 feet) above sea level and has several peaks, with Batian being the highest.
Mount Kenya is a popular destination for mountaineers and trekkers, and it offers a range of climbing and hiking routes to suit different skill levels. The mountain is surrounded by a national park, which is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, monkeys, and numerous bird species.
There are several routes to the summit of Mount Kenya, with the most popular ones being the Naro Moru route, the Sirimon route, and the Chogoria route.
