Midland Hotel Mug
The Midland Hotel is a historic Art Deco hotel located in the seaside town of Morecambe in Lancashire, England. It was built in 1933 by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway and designed by the architect Oliver Hill. The hotel is known for its striking modernist architecture and scenic location overlooking Morecambe Bay.
The hotel fell into disrepair in the 1990s but in the early 2000s it was restored and today, the Midland Hotel is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, and it is considered one of the finest examples of Art Deco architecture in the United Kingdom.
