Leighton Buzzard Railway Tea Towel

£1499

The Leighton Buzzard Light Railway is a narrow-gauge heritage railway located in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, England. It operates on a 2 ft gauge track and covers a distance of 3 miles between Pages Park and Stonehenge Works.

The railway was originally built in 1919 to transport sand and gravel from local quarries to the mainline railway station. The line was closed in the 1960s and later re-opened as a heritage railway by a group of volunteers in 1968.

Today, the railway operates a variety of steam and diesel locomotives, including a number of historic engines. It also has a museum and visitor center at Pages Park, which houses a collection of railway artifacts and memorabilia.
