Burgh Island Tea Towel

£1499

Burgh Island is a small tidal island located off the coast of South Devon in England. The island is connected to the mainland by a sandy causeway, which is only accessible during low tide. Burgh Island has a rich history, dating back to the Bronze Age, and has been the site of various religious and military establishments over the centuries.

The island is perhaps best known for its luxurious Art Deco hotel, the Burgh Island Hotel, which was built in the 1920s and has hosted numerous famous guests, including Agatha Christie, Noël Coward, and Winston Churchill. The hotel is accessible by a sea tractor, which takes visitors across the causeway during high tide.
