Brooklyn Bridge Tea Towel
The Brooklyn Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the East River in New York City, connecting the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Completed in 1883, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world at the time and has since become an iconic landmark of New York City.
The Brooklyn Bridge is a feat of engineering. Its construction required innovative techniques and materials, including the use of steel wire cables, which were a new technology at the time. The bridge was designed by John A. Roebling, who tragically died during its construction, and completed by his son Washington Roebling.
