The Britannia Iron Works in Bedford, England was a historic foundry and ironworks that was established in the mid-19th century. The foundry produced a wide variety of products, including cast iron gates, railings, and street furniture, and was known for its high-quality craftsmanship.
One of the most notable products produced by the Britannia Iron Works was a set of cast iron gates that were installed at Buckingham Palace in London. These gates were designed by Thomas Jeckyll, a prominent Victorian architect and designer, and were cast by the Britannia Iron Works in the 1850s.
