Box Hill is a summit in the North Downs of Surrey, England, about 19 mi south-west of London. It stands at 224 metres above sea level and offers views across the surrounding countryside. The hill is named after the box woodland found on the steepest west-facing chalk slopes overlooking the River Mole.
