The Black Hill is a prominent hill located in the Scottish Borders region of Scotland, near the town of Earlston. It is part of the Eildon Hills range, which consists of three distinctive peaks known as Eildon Hill North, Eildon Hill Middle, and Eildon Hill West, with the Black Hill being the easternmost of the three.
The Black Hill is known for its distinctive shape, with a steep-sided cone-like summit that rises to an elevation of 379 meters above sea level. The hill is made of volcanic rock and is covered with heather and grass, making it a popular destination for hiking and hillwalking.
