Introducing the team: Tabitha

Well I guess I can’t expect to ask all these silly questions to my team without having a go myself now can I!?

For those of you who don’t know me, Hi! I’m Tabitha and I founded Tabitha Mary back in 2012. And yes! My real name is Tabitha Mary! (you’d be surprised how many people ask me that!)

You can read more about me and the Tabitha Mary business here.

But for now, let’s stick to the fun silly stuff as it’s my turn to be under the spotlight….

  1. What’s your favourite film? I think i’ve got to go with River Wild or Overboard just for the nostalgia. But there’s so many! Keira Knightly’s Pride and Prejudice is a go to!
  2. If you could have a superpower, what would you choose? To make everyone be happy in their own skin and be kind.
  3. What animal would you compare yourself to and why? You’re going to laugh at this… I couldn’t decide so I took a personality in an animal quiz! And it came up with…. An Eagle! Read into that what you will! ha ha.
  4. If you were a brand, what would your motto be? “Actions speak louder than words”
  5. If you had a time machine, would you choose to go to the future or the past? Tricky! I think the past, as I don’t want to fast forward my life. I’d love to have lived in the 1920’s!
  6. What one piece of music would you keep on repeat? I honestly can’t answer this, I have a really eclectic mix of music likes, from country and classical to pop. An album which is particularly emotive to me is William Prince. I listened to his album on repeat when I was in Zanzibar after my Kilimanjaro climb. It transports me back there instantly.
  7. What’s the best thing about working for Tabitha Mary? Being my own boss! That’s also the hardest thing about working for myself! But you know, swings & roundabouts!!

That’s it! You’ve met the immediate TM family. There are of course so many other people involved, from suppliers, accountants to family members that help out and to everyone in between – I am hugely grateful to all who help make Tabitha Mary run like clockwork (most of the time!) – I couldn’t do it without each and every one of you.

TM x
