Introducing the Team: Lucy

Continuing on with introducing you to the Tabitha Mary team, next up is Lucy!

Lucy has worked for me since March 2016 (how has it been that long!?). Lucy is in charge of all things social media and runs my business accounts across facebook, twitter and instagram. If you see a post about work it’s most likely come from her. I do dip in when I can adding personal content and videos etc, but running the accounts alone is a full time job!

Lucy’s recently also taken on expanding our marketing and has been working with Facebook and Google on advertising.

I actually met Lucy at a Creative Bedfordshire conference and was introduced to her by Emma Garrett, (official title ‘the brilliant Emma Garrett!’) former owner of Bedford Pavilion.

The biggest thing I love about Lucy is I genuinely think we’re sisters from another life! She’s totally on my wave length and I don’t even have to explain things to her half the time, I send her the most basic random idea and she transforms it into exactly what I had in my head! It’s like she’s actually in there… spooky!

Now it’s Lucy’s turn to be put under the spotlight with my official TM interview!

  1. What’s your favourite film? Matilda – such a family classic from my childhood which I never ever get bored of watching!
  2. If you could have a superpower, what would you choose? I’d love to be able to freeze time to give myself lots of extra hours whenever I need – for sleep, work, play etc.
  3. What animal would you compare yourself to and why? I’d say a Mother Bear – strong, dependable and fiercely protective of my cubs!
  4. If you were a brand, what would your motto be? “Be Kind”
  5. If you had a time machine, would you choose to go to the future or the past? The past – I’d love to spend time with people I’ve lost, or meet people further in the past I never got to meet. Plus I love history and literature, so it would be amazing to be able to go back and visit key periods from history and famous literature.
  6. What one piece of music would you keep on repeat? The “Waitress the Musical” soundtrack! It’s so good!
  7. What’s the best thing about working for Tabitha Mary? I love getting all the inside info on what prints are coming up, but also just getting to shout about Tabitha’s lovely prints all day long. I also love the creative aspect to my role, no two days are ever the same! Plus Tabitha and I get on so well – it’s actually uncanny how alike we are in so many ways, so she’s always a joy to work with. (She didn’t pay me extra to say that – I promise!)

Thank you Lucy! You’ve been a good sport letting me ask you silly questions!

Next up will be Charlotte!
